About Arc Reactor CrossFit
Zanesville’s CrossFit community—where everyday people get stronger together.
Arc Reactor CrossFit in Zanesville is a community-first gym focused on coaching, strength, and real-world fitness.
Our Story

Arc Reactor CrossFit was founded to bring world-class coaching and a supportive community to Zanesville. Our mission is simple: provide fitness and nutrition coaching in Zanesville that is approachable, challenging, and life-changing—whether you’re stepping into your first CrossFit class or chasing new PRs.
Our Values
Community

Our gym is built on connection. We cheer, support, and celebrate every member, making fitness a shared journey instead of a solo struggle.
Progress

Small steps add up. We focus on consistent effort, celebrating steady progress that leads to lasting results instead of chasing quick fixes or unrealistic goals.
Strength

Our workouts build more than PRs—they build resilience, health, and energy for everyday life, from playing with your kids to thriving as you age.
Accountability

You’ll never train alone. Our coaches and community provide guidance, accountability, and encouragement every step of the way so you always stay on track.
Meet Our Coaches
Kendell Kane - Head Coach & Founder

Kendell Kane is the owner and head coach of Arc Reactor Fitness. He brings over a decade of coaching experience and a deep passion for building strong, resilient communities. His fitness journey began with powerlifting, which led him to earn his CrossFit Level 1 in 2014. Since then, he has continued to grow as a coach, earning his CrossFit kids certification in 2017, CrossFit Level 2 in 2019 and his CrossFit Level 3 Trainer Certification, along with a USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Level 1.
Before founding Arc Reactor CrossFit, Kendell served in the United States Marine Corps from 2008–2016. He completed three combat deployments and two additional deployments to Japan. His time in the military instilled in him discipline, grit, and a team-first mindset—values he now brings to his coaching and gym culture.
Kendell also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Bachelor’s degree in Recreation. Those equipped him with the knowledge to not only coach effectively but also create an environment where athletes of all levels can thrive. His mission is to foster a culture built on hard work, accountability, and community—helping every member become stronger both inside and outside the gym.
Tarna Lemieux - Coach

“I’m a mom, coach, and personal trainer who lives for helping people get stronger inside and outside the gym. When I’m not managing a busy family practice, you’ll find me training, coaching, or competing. I’ve pushed myself to the CrossFit Semifinals as a masters athlete and earned 3rd place at nationals in strongman, proving that hard work and consistency pay off. My mission is simple—show up, put in the work, and inspire others to realize just how strong they can be.”
Adam McElhaney - Coach

“I am a father to three amazing boys and love spending as much time as I can with family. I have been actively involved with CrossFit for 12 years and had my Level 1 certification for 8. When I get time off from being the assistant principal at Philo High School, I like to golf, hunt, and serve as a volunteer firefighter at Duncan Falls Volunteer Fire Department.”
